This quote means that only because you tell part of the truth, doesn't mean that doing the right choice. The right choice is when you tell the whole truth, not just part of it. If someone were to find out the other half of the truth you would probably get in trouble because you didn't say you were going to be doing the stuff. It's like saying you were going to a party and weren't going to do anything wrong. when you get there, their were drinks (soda,water,alcohol,etc). Once you get home and say "oh yeah i had drinks like soda and water" that's going to be a lie. That makes it a lie because you also have alcohol in your system but you just said you drank something else. Only because you tell half of the story that is true doesn't mean you are doing the right choice of not telling everything.
